Have you been wondering where God is?
He is not absent from this present world as some might suppose. In fact He is a God that is at a hands reach (Jeremiah 23:23-24). So if you were to get in touch with Him the question I would ask is what is His name?
The answer can be found in many verses in the Bible. His name can save and deliver, heal and strengthen and so much more! His name is:
JESUS
Jesus means Jehovah is salvation.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Jesus Christ came in the name of the Father and the Holy Ghost was sent in Jesus Christ's Name (John 5:43, 14:26). It is at the Name of Jesus Christ every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord (Phillipians 2:10-11).
"Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:37-38
